April is almost here with warmer temperatures bringing all our springtime pests. We have control programs for all of them.
Flea, Tick, and Mosquito Suppression: Tick suppression starts now. We make monthly visits to treat the property. Applications are done by fogging the perimeter of the property, as well as spraying nesting areas. Plant material around the house (patio, deck, pool, swing set wood lines if applicable) will also be treated. Adult ticks are present in fall, winter, and early spring and are active any day with temperatures above freezing. Eggs hatch in the spring. Larvae are present during late summer and nymphs during late spring and throughout the summer. Our recent warm temperatures will have them active. Treat now and enjoy being outside in your yard.
Turf: Our seven-step program keeps lawns beautiful and weed-free. When was the last time you had your soil tested? Bucks County soil tends to be poor, if not treated. Testing allows us to know what is happening underground. Deficiencies in the soil affect proper turf growth and color. Micro-nutrients allow your turf to absorb all the needed components of the fertilizer. Proper pH levels are essential in helping your fertilizer work efficiently. Grass plants thrive within a very small pH range. Recent tests for new clients have mostly had low pH levels. Lime applications help us adjust the pH in your lawn and utilize the fertilizer to its maximum efficiency. Following turf science will make your lawn the envy of your neighbors.
Tree Care: We have finished deep root feeding and are transitioning to foliar applications, which include Insect and disease control. This helps combat insects such as scales, mites, aphids, mealybugs, lacebugs, caterpillars and more. These insects are becoming active now. Keep these pests from destroying your plantings.
